I am having regrets and guilt. When i am are trying to work on my mental health and keeping myself up, i fear letting the ones i love down. So when i make those same mistakes, i don’t know what steps to take to move forward with positivity. i am just disappointed that i failed. I want to be a strong stable caring human. How does anyone bounce back and move forward after these moments?

I just realized recently don’t worry about What others think. Worry about yourself every body else does and that’s when the healing begins and set boundaries for you.do what’s right for you.

Listen, I have had crippling imposter syndrome my whole life. And honestly the only thing that has ever helped me is asking my loved ones how I'm doing, if I'm doing enough, if I am enough. And then it helps me to remember that I'm doing the best I can with the tools I have ❤️

I feel you. I have a husband and two kids at home, and I'm a deep empath with a strong maternal instinct, so working on myself can feel counterintuitive. But we can't properly care for others if we don't do the same for ourselves. Hang in there, yurre doing the right thing by taking time for yourself.

When you have to deal with mental health all those negative emotions going on in your head all the time. Is hard for anyone. It affects all areas of your life. Feels like it takes over your whole life. The guilt, poor me , I a loser, screwing up. Meds, therapy exercise, and god really does help.

You have to think of yourself first. Your mental health is very important. You have to make sure you're not letting yourself down. You can be a strong stable caring human, when you do for yourself first. You are most important. Once you take care of you, you can do for others. And if you fail, get back up and try again. The only disappointment is not trying at all. You got this. ❤️

I have similar problems, especially as a black caregiver i feel so much duty and responsibility. I would say try to remind yourself that sometimes feelings are not telling the whole truth. You may feel guilty and selfish, but what the root of that often is is fear and lack of stability. Addressing what fills your cup can only help you be a better person for others

Still trying to figure this out myself. Working with my counselor, it is hard.
