Ok hear me out: i stopped looking in the mirror, stopped taking selfies Besides the bare minimum making sure i didnt look disheveled before leaving the house. Definetly took practice, but whenever i caught myself analyzing my reflection i forced myself to walk away. Also i did something similar to affirmations, but i kimda framed it as reminding myself. If you feel like you're convincing yourself its tough, but if you act like you're reminding yourself of an inherent truth you believe it faster. Things like "no you dont look like a freak, my insecurities arent as bad to others as i see them; no one will scrutinize me the way i do they just dont pay that much attention: there are or will be people who like me, enjoy my presence, find me attractive" etc. I dont know if i finally grew into my body or if it actually worked but im generally happy with my appearance now, and content with the fact even if im not attractive it doesn't really matter. Still can't look at pictures of myself though, i just let ppl take them knowing that ill be glad to have them later. If someone asks me to clear a photo to post i try to think about it as little as possible, or if someone i trust to not do me dirty is in the picture i have them do it for me. This plus reducing stressors in my life greatly reduced my social anxiety. I basically decided to be myself (while being respectful and courteous) and that way if someone didnt like me than were just not a good fit no biggie. From their my social skills increased and ill even have lil bursts of extrovertness. All of this happened over years, and didnt feel like much progress as it happened, but all the small positive chages add up, and make the next thing easier.
