Tips for getting out of bed in the morning? I’ve had a years-long struggle with both going to bed on time and getting out of bed on time and it kind of throws me off for the rest of the day, esp on weekends when I can sometimes put off the start of my day until as late as 2 or 3 PM. I NEED to break this habit :’) not sure exactly where it stems from but guessing it’s my old friend anxiety

I completely understand the not getting up or going to bed on time. I’m currently trying to find and stick to a flexible night time schedule. For waking up I set LOTS of alarms varying from ever 1-5mins for 2hrs and have them all set to Strange noises. A loud duck quacking is quite alarming. Sometimes having an animal that wakes u up so they can eat can help in the right situation. Good luck!

The main thing I do is chamomile before bed and when I wake up I set my alarm 15 mins before I need to and lay and look out my window for 15 mins Helps improve my energy

So, one thing that helps me sleep at a regular time, I pick that specific time (for me it's 10) and I go lay down and play a sleep meditation/sleep hypnosis video on YouTube. It sounds dumb but it talks me down to sleep bc I will think about a lot if words aren't involved. Sometimes if I'm not falling asleep I'll restart the video. Most of the time this gets me to sleep within an hour of my goal to be asleep at. Getting up in the morning I agree with other comments with MULTIPLE alarms and an animal does help lol. Try to find a reason you HAVE to get up. Even if it's just something you need to do. I fixed my schedule by forcing myself to go to the gym early or doing chores before I have to go to school. It's really hard to fix your sleeping habits, it'll take a lot of work and a LOT of days that you feel exhausted, but its doable. Good luck I hope this helps some!

A morning routine and bed time routine can make all the difference. This ejxtboart is gonna suck but it will make a difference, set an altam and wake up st whatever time you want to and your body will tell you when you need to go to bed. I can off up my morning routine and bed time routine if anyone one is interested??? I stopped arguing with time and it has been less stressful but I know not everyone can or wants to dot hst but I did the arm clock thing to wake up six am three-two tears ago and it worked

I have this problem too. I tend to get to work later then I’d want to. I’m completely exhausted in the mornings and have trouble falling asleep at night. I actually have insomnia and some nights it’s really bad. I don’t particularly have any tips. But I can relate to your struggle.
