Hi I’m new to this! Anyone else trying to lose weight/eat healthier and continue to fail? Literally I have the mindset of wanting to get healthier but I feel like I’m addicted to junk food.

Hey! Honestly, I have struggled with my weight for years. I’ve always been a bigger girl and I was always teased for it when I was a kid. When I started all these new meds I found a newfound “light” (super cliché) but it really helped me do what I need to do to make a healthier life for myself. I use the Lose It! app and it’s super helpful with counting macros and things. And, if you have insurance, I would suggest maybe reaching out to a nutritionist to help manage your foods better. Try getting up and going to the gym, or even just taking a mile or two walk around your neighborhood everyday. I follow a lot of healthy recipe influencers on tik tok and that’s helped me, too. (:

Yes I’m trying to eat healthier and losing weight, I know my struggle is my medications. My meds help me gain weight I could be having the healthiest meal and doing portion controls and all of that for months and I may lose a couple pounds at the start but then it alls comes back once my body gets used to it.
