I know it's hard beyond words, but they aren't going to leave you, will they talk to you less? Honestly yes, but that's only due to the relationship, but they aren't going to leave you, the most you can do is be there for them and slowly start exposing their flaws, I was in a really abusive relationship and my best friend had to slowly pull us apart, and you know what? Me and my best friend have been extremely close ever since. But don't stay if it's getting too toxic, don't force yourself to stay, know how much you can handle okay?
