Does anyone else have vasovagal syncope/neurocardiogenic syncope? I would appreciate if you commented your triggers and anything that has helped you. My triggers seem to be any anxiety and standing/sitting still. Movement+distraction helps. I have had some success with prozac but am interested in trying parasympathetic meds like acetylcholinergic meds or even vagus nerve therapy. I have episodes every day and cannot drive or go to school. If anyone wants to talk, I will respond to messages! šø

Museums- walking slow. Heat, standing, blood, shots, sometimes even hearing really sad stories will pull a reaction out of me. I drink a salt/sugar powder packet added to water daily (liquid iv) and it works so well!!!! I'm a new person. I need 8 hrs of sleep and a 20 min nap, and I have a list of different relaxation activities that I do about every hour.

My main trigger is pain, too hot, too cold, and anxiety to cope I carry a salt packet with Mr bec my doc told me that lacking salt can help get me back faster and it has been working but I hear sweets work too but I eat too much candy so that doesn't really work for me also putting your legs up

My triggers are sight of š©ø and getting overheated, or being dehydrated for long periods of time. Iām still trying to find ways to cope when an episode happens. I normally end up passing out because of it.
