What are some things that you have found that help distract from/stop pulling?

If I recognize that I am pulling the hair from by head, I put my hair in a high bun and put on a satin cap. It is like a shower cap but really soft and comfortable, made to be worn overnight. It really helps me not pull out the hairs from my bun

the areas i pull at are my armpits and groin. I try to keep everything trimmed which seems to help. I shaved my armpits completely at one point so that I wouldn't physically be able to, and it kept my mind off of it for long enough that I got out of the habit and now i don't get the urge to pull there.

for me its my eyebrows that are the worst- getting my nails done even the cheap glue ons help because physically i cant pick at them with long nails. for hair, i know some styles in cute buns or wearing beanies or ribbons to hide your hair from your face!
