I’m having such a hard time adjusting to this body. I’m beating myself up for “babying” myself but at the same time I keep pushing it too far. It feels like I can’t do anything anymore without a flare up. I wish I was brave enough to ask for the help I need and smart enough to know what I need. Today is just really hard I guess. Everything feels “unfair”. I don’t even know what coping strategies to employ. I’m so lost.

Yup just started 3 weeks ago. If I can keep the Fibro fog at bay, I am hoping to have the first draft finished by New Year.

Wow. This was so relatable. I honestly have no advice because I struggle with the same feelings and haven't found any strategies that work. I know exactly what this feels like though. It weighs me down some days more than others. I remind myself it isnt my fault. I remind myself just because it is a life sentence it doesn't have to be a death sentence. I remind myself that I am strong even when I feel my weakest. Also giving myself praise when I am able to do things no matter how small they are. On the worst days I use distractions that don't cause flare ups (writing a novel, watching Naruto, and playing angry birds are my go to).
