My trigger is usually is exercise and I'm an athlete so I take a daily prescription. It's not a forever thing though you take it for about 6 month in they ease you off of it. So if you don't wanna be dependent on medicine maybe that could work for you

I went to neurologist and was diagnosed with chronic migraine and started Botox for migraines and it has been a LIFE CHANGER... and Nurtec ODT for oral meds when needed (rarely)

if you go to a neurologist the first thing they will tell you to do is drink at least 8 bottles of water and get enough sleep, secondly find your triggers and warning signs, they’ll probably have you try magnesium. The first med they put most people on is sumatriptan, worked wonders for me for years only side affect for me was jaw pain so I took it with 2 advil and there was no issue.
