Sometimes when I’m really anxious I will lay down on my back and imagine my body steaming off all the stresses of my life. I imagine my body with vapor coming off of it. Does anyone have any tricks like this to help calm the anxious mind?

      I know this isn’t really helpful but not really… I’ve been struggling with extreme anxiety for a couple months now and I still haven’t found something I can do when I am extremely anxious and I’m about to have an anxiety attack that actually helps.

      I imagine a bird slowly plucking away all the imaginary feathers on my body, and as each one is removed, I imagine my anxiety and muscle tension being removed with it, relaxing my body
