does anyone have experience with drinking on lithium? it’s my 21st birthday on sunday and i really want to go out to the bars but i’m not sure if it’s safe

Be careful. Drinking too much can cause dehydration which will make your lithium levels in your blood dangerously high but could be fatal. I was just in the hospital today cause my dr thought my lithium levels were high. It's not fun. Be responsible and have fun but don't drink too much

I drink on my lithium. Just occasionally because it could cause damage if you do it a bunch.
