I’ve had many providers advise to get off clonazepam, but it’s the only med (and I’ve tried the whole lot of them) that works for my anxiety. My PCP says if it works for me, then it works. Does anyone else have that push back from providers when you disclose you’re on this med? I’ve been on 1mg BID since early 2018

If it works for you than push back on the drs! I’ve been on it for MANY years!

I was put on Clonazepam for my anxiety and sleeping, I recently was given a diagnosis of End Stage Renal Disease, the medication helps me with both my medical problems, especially allowing me to sleep during the night.

I am on 8mgs clonazepam (IF NEEDED) for clonazepam since last year. Everything so far has been okay. I take 5-8mgs depending on how bad the panic symptoms are. You outweigh the risk and the benefits. The medication benefits you, therefore YOU know it helps you and calms you. So go ahead and listen to your pcp. If it works for you, IT WORKS FOR YOU 🙌

I have been on that medication since 2009 and all of the sudden she wanted to take me off and she did for 2 months and I kept telling her nothing works but the clonazepam I have been taken 1 mg twice a day since 2009 and then last year she said u only need one a day so I have been in one a day since last year

My psychiatrist tried to put me on gabapentin before and I kept telling her to put me back on the clonazepam and she finally did

I have but I ignore them. If it works for me, then it works for me. That’s just how I feel though!
