      @Faithhope don’t take Protonix for more than 2 months. I stopped I have one kidney stage 3 cold. I refuse to take it. I went to a different gastro he agreed with me. Now it’s lifestyle change no caffeine no caffeine coffee. No cold cuts, limit dairy. No soda or seltzer. No broccoli for me. Lots of water. Not easy.

      Try dexilant. They changed me from protonix to dexilant and works amazing.

      I was on Prontonix for a few weeks and stopped as it is not good for the kidney. I have one kidney and kidney disease. I’m trying no caffeine and life style change.

      I have to take one of the meds for gerd daily or o can't eat or function at all. I can't go more than a day without it without suffering. I can't even imagine having to stop. It scares me. On them for over 10 years now

      I was on protonix for at least 10 years due to acid reflux and heartburn. Two years ago, my dosage doubled. I lost 20 lb and haven’t taken protonix now for 2 months!

      omeprazole helps my gerd more than anything, but if you want to stop taking meds i would recommend looking into the gerd diet to control your stomach acid

      I was on protonix amd it didnt help and now om esomproazole amd helps but i still have a little bloating every now and then

      I have been on Protonix twice a day for 3 years in Nov. When I do not take it I have trouble digesting. I just had an Endoscopy done 2nd in 3 months. My ulcers are healed. Esophagus dilated. I was put on Protonix for GI bleed.

        @MomAdrian oh no pray you are well. I dont have or have had a bleed i jusy had acid reflux amd probably sores but they are gone now. Trying to lose the weight to help even more
