My teenage son doesn’t like the symptoms of my ADD, how do I help him accept me so he doesn’t have a pattern of rejecting others that are different?

I may not be the best person to give advice as I am child-free but have you tried asking WHICH symptoms and why? And then maybe working w/ him to find a way where he can help you w/ those, so he doesn’t feel like so on the outside of it? Like if it’s memory problems, maybe him helping you develop a system to help remind you of things will help him better understand how it affects you. It may also help you understand how your symptoms have affected him. It seems like we go through ADHD or whatever else alone but we don’t. All actions, regardless of their source, affect those around us as well.
