Struggling with Self-Hate

What helped me improve my self image (along with therapy) is I switched from self deprecating humor to making egotistical jokes. Even though I didn't believe any of it, giving yourself compliments every day and switching that mindset really helped. It's like fake it till you make it. You trick your brain pretty much with saying these nice things about yourself that you don't think is true until you do believe them. It helped me love myself, maybe it'll help you too :)
