What has helped you get out of a really bad/awful depressive episode because I have been stuck in the slump for the longest time and everything I’ve tried so far hasn’t helped and I really just wanna be even a little bit happier or Atleast have enough energy to hang out with my family and play with my siblings

For me, (remember easier said than done, right?) I kinda had to stop focusing so much on my depression (which is super hard when it consumes your life) but I kinda had to ignore it in order to venture out. What will usually help me is trying new things to get out of that rut. The biggest one for me after Covid was starting college to continue with my education. I have a goal this year to go hike and see the stars in a specific part of my state. Lots of love!
