does anyone else have a ton of really weird symptoms that no doctors can figure out, even though you have proof of them? i have been sick since i was around 13-14 and i am going to be turning 21 soon. my symptoms have gotten worse and new as i get older. my health has ruined my life and i am not able to do much of anything anymore. i recently went to a renowned hospital and only left with more questions and no answers. they were all concerned about my symptoms but just couldn’t figure it out what the root of the problem was? has anyone else experienced this or know something i can do next?

@stxrberrym00n search on google about acupuncturists in your area and read all their reviews, you pick which one you think is best based off of what you gather. When you call to make an appointment, they may ask you what for, and you can tell them joint pain, gut issues, you can literally tell them all your issues and the acupuncturist will know what to do :))

I'm in the same boat. I have a lot of really weird symptoms with no explanations for them. Some of them are things that I've never heard of anyone else having before and my doctors not having even a clue of what could be causing them. It really sucks. Unfortunately I have no idea as to what can be done next, but I do get it. What kind of symptoms are you having? Feel free to pm me as well.

@chocolatetruffle sorry to hear you are experiencing the same things :( i have a lot of symptoms so i won’t list them all, but in terms of weird/strange symptoms i would say: my gums, roof of mouth, and nails are bright blue- my knees, face, hands, feet, and ears turn neon red and feel extremely hot as if they are in boiling water, and i am not gaining weight but yet i continue to get stretch marks everywhere. what kind of symtpms do you have?

Me too, I have been sick since age 7 getting progressively worse and I'm now 21. I understand the frustration of no concrete answers! The next step for me I think, is going to a functional medicine doctor. Is that something you have thot of? They are very thorough and spend up to 4 hours with you for first appointment.

There’s a checklist that may give you an idea of whether or not you have CFS/ME. Message me if you have any questions or want to talk more. I’m so sorry that you’re hurting. You will get your answers soon. You’re not alone ❤️

Maybe primary care physician can test blood for diabetes, iron issues, Vitamin D or B12 deficiencies, and for ANA antibodies.

Look up the symptoms for CFS/ME, Fibromyalgia, IBS (for bowel & appetite issues). Other things you can look into are MS, Lupus, POTS, getting a thyroid ultrasound, seeing an endocrinologist to test issues with cortisol levels.

@PEMprincess i have talked to my primary doctor about CFS and she thought i may have that or fibromyalgia. i have been tested for IBS and i don’t have it. this year i got a full 12 vials of blood tested for any autoimmune diseases and all were negative. only things flagged were my white blood cells were quite high, as were my platelets. i’ve been tested for my thyroid numerous times and everything is always normal. i can’t say i have ever had my cortisol levels checked though so i will look into it. thank you! i’ve done so many things throughout the years with still no luck :(

Mine started around the same age as you and I’m almost 23 with minimal answers. I get thrown basic diagnosis terms, just for another doctor to say the other one was wrong. What I found to be extremely helpful was, I started with my diet. I didn’t realize it at the time but a lot of my body pain was connected to the food I ate. Anything that had been processed or had lots of chemicals made me sick. To this day if I eat processed food, my joints hurt like hell for a day or two. I also turned to a lot of holistic things like essential oils, and I saw an acupuncturist and that changed the game for me! Let me know if you have any questions and I would be glad to help!

@Kaislyn thank you for your reply!! i know a change in my diet would help dramatically, but my bowels do not work at all so i’m not able to eat much or have an appetite, therefore i usually tend to eat really bad junk/processed food because i know it’ll taste good and be quick to make. i have thought about an acupuncturist, but how did you go about finding one and what did you tell them?
