How do you deal with grief if you still can’t get over someone’s death my grandfather died 5 years ago and he was like my father and I still can’t get over his death and I don’t know what to do

Honestly, my mom passed away when I was 11 almost 12. It’s been about 7 years and I’m still not over it🥲 but everything is ok more once I remember everything we do. Yea it’s gonna be sad but you gotta make the most out of it. Remember the little things 🤗

I got a tattoo my dad had and that really helped me to do something I could remember him by

Maggiemoo I am dealing with the same grief over my little brother. I have tried talking to him. I got a tribute tattoo in memory of him, I've written I've talked I've tried several things. The other day I heard someone say that there are some people that experience a death and while the death itself wasn't a tragic death your perception and reaction took it tragically. It was described as being similar to PTSD.

i’d try to instead of grieving and feeling upset about the fact he’s gone to write a journal or log in your phone all the good memories and reflect on them whenever you start to feel sad. if it leads to tears that’s perfectly okay and you just need to remember it’s not about what’s gone but what you can reflect and bring into the moment. i hope you start to feel better and I’m very sorry for your loss <3
