Dealing with Obsessions as an Autistic Person

My special interest is in My hero academia. The fandom is horrible, and I get scared that as soon as I talk about it people will think of me differently 🤦🏻‍♂️ like no. I just want to tell you about my headcanons and why this single sentence is more important than anything else, etc.

I had a special interest in cars for several years but the local “car people” sort of ruined it for me :/ I hate that “they” got to me but maybe an alternative car culture could come to exist and reignite that passion. I think the reason why is that our interest in cars came from different ideals and the way we expressed that passion were just completely different. I still love to observe within my specific taste but no longer seek out community with or engage in content from enthusiasts.
