What specialist should I see for EDS?

Geneticists are helpful discovering the type of EDS you have (as there’s 13 known forms) but with hypermobile eds there’s no known gene mutation so you may have to go to a rheumatologist or orthopedist to get a diagnosis. POTS is a comorbidity of EDS and can show up in any type.

I also recommend getting orthopedics for the specific joints you have problems with

You probably need PT to strengthen your muscles so your joints stay in place better

I'm in the process of going to the geneticist after my EDS diagnosis. There are different kinds and some can effect things like the heart and blood vessels. So I would definitely be asking to get a referral to one
