Do other people remain extremely drained days after large meltdowns or panic attacks?? After my latest major meltdown early last Friday, I needed support to walk around, stand up, and eat for the first day and a half. Today could maybe be the first day that I can climb the stairs without having to either use significant weight on handrails or have to rest halfway up/down. I know the whole rest yourself thing, but life still continues when I’m down (shocker), and when I eventually have no one to take care of me, what is something I can do to support myself in these sorta situations?

@jipperoni rest is the best thing I’ve found. I understand the not wanting to be a burden… i feel like a burden to my wife all the time…. Sometimes caffeine helps the drained feeling but not always. If you find any other tips, please share them with me also! 💜

@DitsyDiabetic Have you found a way to help this other than to rest? I don’t want to always have to rely on others because my closest friends are over 2 hours away, my parents should not have to worry about my well-being over their job, and people shouldn’t have to take time away from working or their own responsibilities/well-being just to help me

I do. And I feel like nothing can change

@immanentlight Feeling like nothing can change isn’t the best of mindsets. Things repeat, yes, but just because you have deja vu once or twice doesn’t mean that you’ll end up having the exact same feeling of deja vu every time
