I’m gonna try to use a coupon (30 days for $30) I found online because I really want it for my ADHD instead of adderall because I am bulimia recovered and struggle with binge eating still since my life went off track last year.       update: i did not get it 🤗 it only took off $60 AND my insurance Cigna denied it all together lmao time to call my psychiatrist and tell him I was trippin thinking I wanted to switch from addy 😭

      Luckily mine is only $30 a month with my insurance. The manufacturer has a financial assistance program that you can see if you qualify for though.

      Just as a heads up! That coupon only takes off like 100 or 150 from the price! (I'm a pharmacist so I use it all the time - on my own script too) and it says that in the fine print so your copay will probably still be up to 264 🥲 It absolutely helps, but just wanted to make you aware. Do you have a deductible? If so, how much? Is it something that you might actually reach eventually? Some people only have to pay butt tons for a couple of months and then it's normal for the rest of the year. If it's like a $6k deductible, it'll be that the whole time, most likely. 🫠

      1. Insurance 2. Good Rx is not a good deal 3. The drug company offers financial assistance and a saving card. But for the financial assistance normally you have to prove insurance denied and your tried to do a prior auth and appeal, you've tried other drugs and failed on them, have doctor send a script directly to them with your application for financial aid, and proof that you actually need the assistance like sending in pay stubs and tax returns... 4. Usually getting 90 day fillsare cheaper in the long run if the doctor and pharmacy allow the controlled substance to be filled in a 90 day supply

        @Maddismanicmoments thank you, I’m hoping the coupon works today then when I have my psych appointment on the 22nd I’ll bring up trying an insurance appeal. There’s an adderall shortage and I’ve been wanting to try this because of the dual ADHD/BED but was unaware the price tag was so high 😥 the patent is up this year so hopefully a generic will come around but I don’t want to count on that either

          @photographer0402 not necessarily true. There are certain state laws governing this and even the strictest states allow it, it just has to be done correctly and the practitioner has to be willing. There's certain coding that sometimes has to be done and there's a lot of restrictions, but it *can* be done.
