Hi, I’m Shelby. I’m from NYC, I have a very cute dog, and i’m currently suffering from PTSD due to the loss of my brother last year. I have repetitive OCD, I do things in 3’s and multiples of 3, until they “feel right”. I have diagnosed IBS, but it doesn’t feel right to me. I just got off of hormonal birth control and I’m starting to readjust.

i’m also lactose intolerant and i’m going to test for a gluten intolerance, but even if i have that, i’m already a vegetarian, so i feel like it would just make everything harder because like, what would i eat?

@shellzzii something my friend did when she tried being vegan is that the only meat she would eat is 1 kind so she got the type of nutrients she needed from that instead of supplements and she picked chicken for it, if you have a gluten allergy you can still eat it your stomach will just bloat up really big and you'll have to poop LOL

this is crazy to me i have IBS too and have been struggling with it for my whole life, i also have OCD and repeat things until they "feel right" there isn't a specific number for me, i just got off of my hormonal birth control (extra doses estrogen) because it was making me feel worse, and i also have PTSD but from a few things... you are definitely not alone

@junovesta hey! i feel like with ibs, i don’t think they diagnosed me with the right thing. have you ever felt that way? it’s a lot of the reason i got off of hormonal birth control because in a month or so i can test and see if my hormones may be playing a part in my health, gut, chronic headaches, and mental health.

@shellzzii i get that, i've been suffering so miserably from ibs all of my life since i was a baby and i can see how people would feel like certain medication can okay a part in making it worse but i personally, definitely don't think that your hormones made it worse, it would make more of your reproductive organs worse/better, but not your bowels
