Does anyone else have times where they can’t control what they do or say or think? I’ve been having episodes where it’s like I have intrusive thoughts but instead of being able to dismiss them, I act on them as if something or someone else is in control of me.

@SleepyAnya someone else said that but I don’t fully understand what that is or why it happens

Meditation helps you think more before you talk, in my experience. I used to have impulsive thinking and blurt out whatever I felt, but as I've learned to slow it down a little bit it's helped.

It sounds like you’re experiencing dissociation
Yeah I have that it's not so bad since I've been on medication for a while. Sometimes still happens tho and it's kind of unsettling like I don't have a grip on this reality.
@breadbored that’s how I feel. Like I don’t belong in this life or something. What medication do you take if you don’t mind me asking?
@Drusilla Remeron and then Lexapro and Buspar for anxiety. I had tried Zoloft and a couple other things, took some trial and error. It's worth putting up with the process though.
