I’m dealing with hair loss. I have been blessed with A TON of hair, so it’s not a noticeable loss when people look at me. But I have been pulling out a lot more hair than usual. I started taking vitamins for hair/skin/nail (Olly brand) and I know it won’t be an overnight miracle, but I am anxious about it. Anyone else deal with hair loss with IBD? Did it get better after you started treatment? Get worse?

Sorry this was 2 months ago so hopefully it's chilled out a bit by now! If not, my hair loss felt bad until my treatment kicked in but has calmed down since! Before I was pulling out clumps, luckily I have very fine hair but so much of it that although it didn't look so thick it didn't show too much. It's totally stopped now!

Yes I had a lot of hair loss after being really ill, two ops and two new meds. I tried all sorts but nothing seemed to help much. It seems to have stabilised a bit now im on lower dosage and in better health. If you find a solution please let me know!
