Just remember that they know you’re nervous and that’s totally acceptable! Just be yourself and be honest, worst case scenario you don’t get hired and you’ll never have to see or talk to them again, and there will always be other jobs. Good luck, I wish you the very best and I hope it goes well for you! Even if it doesn’t you are still perfectly capable and admirable for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone!! Im proud of you and I hope everything goes well! ❤️

Hi! I’m actually preparing for a job interview as well. What I do is write out answers to basic interview questions and I study them over and over. Write them out, read them, say them, and have someone quiz you. This helps me so much with interviews. Studying helps me feel mentally prepared which calms my anxiety a lot more. Also try having a go to response/ responses if they throw a question at you that you don’t know the answer to. That way you have time to stall and think of something better to say. I hope this helps a little bit! I’ve used this strategy for all my interviews/ public speaking and it’s gone really well :)

Until then, go outside, go for a walk, stay busy. But practice!
Also be genuine when you meet them. You can tell them you’re nervous (I mean, you’re excited to get this job!). I’ve tripped up and forgotten what I was saying before and just apologized and told them I was nervous because I was super excited about the job.
My biggest fear are interviews and I’m in my 30s. Remember that everyone is nervous, even the interviewers. It’s normal. You can feel more prepared by practicing your answers for questions they may ask - you can Google common interview questions. Ideally, have specific examples to share, esp. how you problem solved a conflict (whether it was in school, etc). It’s always the anticipation that is the worst part, I kid you not, and the interview will go just fine. Remember, you are interviewing them as a good fit just as much as they’re interviewing you. Be familiar with their company - look at their website. Be sure to email them (or however you communicate with them) afterwards to thank them again for their time. You got it!
@Falafel thank you so much! it’s at Claries, just my social anxiety is eating at me right now!
