New to this site. I have symptoms of IBS with my bathroom habits going back and forth.(you get the idea) It seemed to start after having my gall bladder removed but not sure if that’s relevant. I have stomach aches often after eating. Taking meds for GERD. Any suggestions for keeping this bay by things like proper nutrition.

I've had IBS from before I got my gallbladder out, but it's gotten worse since having it out, and has just kept increasing. Now I'm on pain meds and muscle relaxers for my back pain (unrelated), and thee meds made it so using the bathroom is almost a thing in the past. 🙄 Found out it very well could be medicine slowing things down to a halt. Shame, I was at the point of doing a stool sample so we could figure out what the hey is going on. But, now I can't even go to do so... *Sigh* trade one pain for another.

Same issue here. I limit my dietary fat intake and use digestive enzymes with ox bile in it to help digest fats.
