Oh and doing like 10 mins of ice, because all heat doesn’t always work for me, then 20 mins heat. A rheumatologist told me that if you’re doing ice and not following it with heat it’s gonna make any of that kind of muscle/nerve pain worse so I am really careful to do both now.

Muscle relaxers and trigger point injections really help me out!

Horizant (extended release gabapentin) and amitriptyline. Shoulders for me too. I used salon pas patches way too much too.

I found that a heating pad helps. Also my Dr put me on Savella. That helped a lot for me. My shoulders are the worst also.
