I don’t know what exactly this is called or anything, but every time I lay down to go to bed, the only things I’m capable of thinking of/imaging are the most stressful things I faced the day prior and the things I’m going to have to face the next day (and also just general anxieties/depressive things that I force myself to not think abt). It’s exhausting, causes me a lot of stress, and reduces the amount of time I sleep (which, I desperately need sleep). I’ve tried everything under the sun to shut my brain up but most nights the anxiety and discomfort forces me to cry myself to sleep waaaayyyy past my bed time. I’m desperate for any type of help. Tips, tricks, flukes to trick your mind, things to drink, etc. also, is there a specialist I should see? I have always had a problem with sleeping. I’m sorry for the long-winded “question”.

I deal with this a lot also. To the point that it’s all I dream about these day :( if anyone has any tips, I’d be happy to hear them as well. I guess the only thing I can tell you is you’re not alone. I’m right here in the same situation
