      @Topher7209 PositiveSingles is a site I use. It’s not bad. I’ve been diagnosed for two months. HSV-2. Go on a few dates and if it’s going well, tell them, or before sex. Wouldn’t tell them before then. I was told the same advice and it’s better that way. I tried upfront and most people just run. Lol. Stigma is worst part. The virus isn’t even that bad…

      I appreciate all your advice. I guess It’s all so new I’m just still going through all the emotions of the divorce after 15 yrs. One day I’m fully intent on putting myself out there then I normally just go home and channel surf. Finding it difficult to get motivated.

      Most men were thankful and grateful I told them before we had a sexual encounter.. and wanted to have sex anyway with protection at first don't be offended if they do.

      Thank you for responding. I fully intend to tell someone before sex. I’m more concerned about dating for an extended period of time and the other person getting offended after building a relationship, so I currently just don’t date. Dating is difficult enough in your 40’s. Has anyone tried the herpes dating sites?

      No one needs to know, until you believe you want to have sex with them. Definitely tell them before hand.
