      I have muscular dystrophy and I cannot say I have had uncontrollable muscle movements from it.

      Everyone’s different but it gave me uncontrollable muscle movements throughout my body. I didn’t realize this caused it until I stopped having it and they went away

      I took it for only a few months because it caused some pretty severe stomach pain for me!! I tried several different medications, but the only thing that worked was causing some of my liver function to fail, so I had to stop taking that. All of this to say, I got pretty desperate and looked to some alternative options and was told by my native medicine woman about a traditional remedy that REALLY worked for me!! (I know that not everyone is the same, but maybe it can help you!!) 1 tbsp pure aloe Vera juice (check the label and make sure there isn’t anything else!) Mixed with 1 tbsp papaya juice (again, pure papaya juice, nothing else!) it tastes pretty awful, so I will sometimes add a little orange juice or something else to hide the taste. But, you drink that with every meal (it’s kind of a pain at first, but the longer you do it, the less often you need it!) I know people it’s worked for and some that it hasn’t, so I don’t know if it could help you, but it might be a good option if you’re concerned with side effects!!!

          @Elka_Arendt unfortunately yes to both. And it was severe enough to be triggered by any food/drink (even water)

      I've been taking it for years & have had no side effects from it. The benefits of it far outweigh any side effects.

      I’ve been taking for many years and have never had a side effect! I do suffer if I forget to take it! Acid Reflux is awful: comes up out my nose, yikes!!

      I have had no side effects. My only Concern is that my potassium normally runs low and Anything that reduces stomach acid is also going to reduce your ability to absorb nutrients. So if I take it I only take it In very short increments, Like 2 or 3 days tops

      I used to take it. I didn't notice any side effects. It stopped working for me though. Now I take esomeprazole. It has worked the best for me. The only thing is that most people become dependent on these medications. I will never be able to get off of it. Anytime I have tried, my heartburn and reflux was worse than it was to start with.

        @AshBear I haven’t started taking it but it was recommended. I’ve been experiencing increase in frequency and sometimes severity of GERD symptoms, notably abdominal pain, heartburn, and reflux.

          @CookiesAndChaos I'm taking it for GERD, I tried tapering but the symptoms came back so I'm just planning on taking Omeprazole forever lol
