I’m having a hard time describing my symptoms accurately to my doctor and family. At its worst, it feels like two strong hands are pulling my vagina “hole” wide open, like I can’t close my legs - physically I can close my legs together, but it feels like something is trying to push them apart. Does this sound like something others have experienced? I’m wondering if PID is my correct diagnosis as all tests have been negative and antibiotics have worked for a few weeks and then it’s back! Since my diagnosis in September 2021, I’ve had 2 more flair ups. So 3 bouts in 5 months. I have been experiencing these symptoms at a much lower grade since 2019

PID diagnosis is based on physical inflammation symptoms and lab work, so it sounds like something else. Maybe see a sexual therapist, they usually have experience with these sensations. Were here for you in the meantime.
