How to Work with an Insulin Sliding Scale?

I do 1 Unit per every 10 carbs.

Ok interesting. I was told by my doctor to just to a fixed number of 4 units when I eat. But that doesn’t work a lot of the time. Since everything you eat is different with how many carbs it has. So now I do 1 unit for every 10 carbs I eat.
