I have anxiety and depression and recently got broken up with. I feel like my heart was shattered into a million pieces. I still feel so attached to this person and can’t stop thinking about her. What are ways to move on and stop thinking about the person? Also I have been lashing out at friends and family who don’t deserve it because of the worsened depression and anxiety. The guilt from this as well as the break up has caused me to feel nauseous all day and throw up everyday for over a week. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you journal? I find it very helpful to write out my feelings and see them to accept them. Give yourself that time to be sad, write about how much it hurts, write what you’ll miss, try to find things you’ve learned from it too. Self care is really important right now. Watch your favourite show, eat your safe foods, take a shower or bath if you can. If you haven’t already, explain how your anxiety and depression are high right now and that gives you a short fuse but you don’t really mean it. If they’re understanding, being open with that can help them and help them help you. You’re struggling but you’re not alone. You will get through this even though it’s hard. Sending peace and love for you ❤️
