Hello! My doctor gave me a sample pack of Slynd birth control for endometriosis, but after the sample is up it will cost me $50 to get it refilled. Does it help with the pain? Is it worth it?

What may work for someone else may or may not work for you. Unfortunately the only way to know is to try it

I’m not sure if i’ve ever tried Slynd, but i tried various different pills, shot, iud, and rings and they would work for me for a while and then the pain would come back. For me, changing up my diet was a game changer! I started out going gluten free and reducing other inflammatory foods and it has really helped! Every body is different though and I know some people where birth control works great. I feel like there’s not a lot of information out there about endometriosis treatments and it’s mainly just about trying different things until you find something you like! best of luck to you and I hope you find the relief you are looking for because I promise it is out there!
