I’m taking an introduction to speech course in college which is required for my degree but every time I have to do a presentation I break down crying and start dealing with uncontrollable anxiety. I talked to the professor and there is nothing she can do. Any advice? I can’t handle this anymore and I need to get through this course.

This probably isn't helpful but the way I got through public speaking in school was to make it as boring as possible and look at people's faces. You start throwing facts at them and they all tune out. Half of them are probably looking at their phones by the time you even start. I've had people fall asleep in the middle of speeches I've made.

I feel you. I also have social anxiety and I have really bad anxiety before presentations and even after the presentation because I’m afraid people will judge my presentation. What I’ve learned is practicing the day before you present in front of close family or your partner or siblings etc. it usually helps me because I know what they think of my presentation and I can apply that same information that if my sibling for example thinks my presentation is good, most likely my classmates will think so also.

I would try talking to your schools disabilities office. I have gained accommodations for my anxiety. It may help you to find out what you may qualify for and what they offer at your school.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this, I always hated speeches in school :/ I'm also sorry that your school isn't even trying to accommodate to you. With my anxiety at college, if I thought I did something embarrassing I would tell myself "at least I'll probably never see these people again" and that helped at least a little It depends on how much energy you have to devote to this, but you could try to see if there are codes in your school handbook that the school is violating and you could cite them. Maybe you could have a friend or someone help be your voice

I had the same issue, and my professor allowed me to present to just him instead of the whole class.
