Through the liver**

It takes under an hour to kick in, so make sure you are in bed and have gone to the bathroom after you take it. While it isn't processed through the live, it can aggravate it so be aware of that! It almost caused mine to fail before we realized it was causing it to. When I was in it, I would immediately get nauseaous and be sick if woken abruptly. So it's a sucky med to be on if there’s an emergency (a fire, etc.)
