Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant: Anyone Have Experience?

I’m going to do a trial run. This is where they put the wires into the spinal area (it is supposed to be comparable to an injection). They do not implant the device at first. No, and I don't want one. Had a friend whose pain mgmt Dr wanted him to have one badly. He talked her into giving him references of ppl who had them. Not One Person could tell him that it had made a difference for them. He had a physically demanding job and was afraid if someone hit his back wrong it might be bad.. Just like any opiod treatment there's issues with that thing, too.
