Misdiagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes

Yes I have heard of LADA, it’s basically type 1 but they call it LADA when you are older than 30 years old and have type 1. Alot of people with LADA were first misdiagnosed with type 2 diabetes before the doctors realized that they had type 1 (LADA)

and then about 2 years later they diagnosed me with type 1 diabetes. Now I use a insulin pump.

I have heard they do miss diagnose when you’re older, some doctors don’t run the right test. Have you heard of LADA diabetes? It is happening to my step mother, she was starting off as type two but now her doctor is telling her it’s starting to turn into type one?? Crazy stuff.
