Yes yes yes you should disclose to future partners. If your doctor told you not to… drop them because that could actually get you in a ton of trouble if you don’t disclose and personally I think it is incredibly rude to not disclose your status.

Of course you should disclose this to them if you plan on having sex at all.

If you plan on sleeping with them I would definitely tell them all state laws are different but in OH it’s actually illegal not to tell someone if u know but Honestly many people don’t care to take the risk especially if they really care for you. Also meds help a lot and I’ve had many doctors tell me it’s actually pretty hard to get it unless the person has a outbreak.

You can get HSV1 or HSV2 on your mouth or genitals. The only way to know is to take a test Yes technically you should tell a partner, since you can transmit before an outbreak or with mild symptoms. If you’re on valtrex all the time and use a condom, it would greatly reduce your chance of spreading it

Well my opinion is to use protection and yes you should say something to your partner but that’s very extensive because if your on meds and are able to not pass it you will be able to Start the conversation like that good luck..

My general sense is yes, but I'm also curious what other people have been told by their doctors. It's confusing when all the info out there is for people with oral HSV-1 or genital HSV-2!
