I have been experiencing hives all over my body, very itchy, painful, hot, I’ve been taking Benadryl and Pepcid regularly but it really doesn’t help at all. The only thing that helps is steroids. I’m seeing an allergist and she needs me off the steroids so she can do some tests and now I’m completely covered in hives and absolutely miserable. I’ve used calamine lotion, hydrocortisone, epsom salt baths, baking soda, apple cider vinegar, oatmeal, everything nothing helps. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do? I can’t sleep, I’m just miserable!

You need to use clean and clear laundry soaps cut out any skin lotions that are not moisturizing use only ones that are natural like Aveeno or Cetaphil, they actually have very good moisturizer in them. No perfume use Aveeno soap in the shower and a strong steroid cream but only use it for a couple weeks then take a week off because your body gets ammune to it and it will quit working so take a week off and moisturize your skin heavily with cetaphil

I do 40mg Zyrtec and 40mg pepcid. Coupled with xolair. I just started taking doxepin, but like hydroxyzine, it makes me very drowsy :/

Has the natural path been more helpful?

I take 4 Zyrtec and a pepcid Ac a day. I went to an allergist. Moved on to a Natural path. We are doing some more labs.
