Idk if I have BPD and I will not self-diagnose. But the other day I wanted to die over not having the food I wanted. And I’m scared of that. I think this has happened to me beforehand but my brain feels foggy. I just feel down at this point . Every doctor keeps ghosting me when I mention BPD possibilities.

BPD goes very undiagnosed sadly. I suggest talking to a professional therapist about it, and if they decide it’s a no get an opinion from a second therapist. If you already have a therapist that doesn’t consider your feelings about something it’s time to get a new one.

I totally get that, I would feel that way at times too. One thing I always suggest is breathing techniques, breathe out longer than u breathe in, breathing out is what reduces stress. Also have u tried seeing a psychologist to get diagnosed? If u can’t do that I’d also suggest just going to a therapist to help u manage ur symptoms

@Child_Consumer I’ve messaged mainly psychiatrist i used the wrong term in the post. I’ve even messaged clinically therapist for desperate times. One lady offered to set up an interview , but as soon as I said possible BPD she didn’t respond. This made me feel so bad. I hate the stigma of especially this disorder . The Amber Turd stuff didn’t help.

@Emily55 if u have that problem with therapists doing that u could just say go in and say u need help with managing ur emotions, and usually after a few sessions u can bring it up and they’d be more understanding cuz they know of what you’ve been through, but if they aren’t open about it or just keep turning u down or they make u feel uncomfortable then change therapists

@Emily55 I will try that , I usually sit in bed and clutch my fist trying not to hurt myself .
