Hi! I think my biggest issue right now is that I keep waking up in the middle of the night either having a panic attack or start having pretty soon after waking up in the middle of the night. I have an anxiety med I take, which helps most of the time. But I haven’t been able to find a way to stop the panic attacks from starting

Try putting on a meditation app or white noise and see if you can train your brain that you are safe and ok and protected before itcomes on... its gonna take a while cause something is triggering them. Are you in therapy? She or he might be able to figure out what is going on subconsciously?

Keep trying different meds. Hopefully you’ll find one that helps you ❤️
you’re having dreams of being powerless, which probably contributes. Idk about you, but my dreams tend to reflect either my daily life or media I’ve been consuming. Maybe try watching a comedy before bed and see if that helps?
Usually in my dream I’m crying or trying to yell and it wakes me up and my heart is racing

I did try meditation and either it doesn’t help or makes it worse for some reason. I do listen to happy books when I sleep, it really helps me calm down and zone out enough to sleep. I was in therapy but I’m not right now. I do think I should find someone to see.
What do you think about before bed? Are you having a nightmare?
