My fibro has had an especially big impact on my life over the last several months, and it’s forcing me to question fairly major things about my life/future. It’s triggered my depression pretty badly. Does anybody have any thoughts, advice or suggestions? (P. S. I am in regular therapy and take medication for depression, anxiety & ADHD.)

Haha we’re all low on spoons over here, don’t worry. If anyone understands, it’s us!

I'm in the same boat. What helped me a lot was talking to people in my support system family wise and explaining my fears to them and being reassured that if anything were to happen, they would be there to help me as much as possible. Having that assurance helped take a load of my anxiety off.

I appreciate you all. Sorry, I’m always low on spoons so I forget to check back sometimes…😬

I’m right there with you, I’ve been having symptoms of fibro for a few months, drs couldn’t figure it out until I saw an rheumatologist. It’s definitely so nice that I finally have a answer. I have days where I’m very depressed and my brain says I shouldn’t be here why suffer. But I cry and remember my family and how I hate to find me. It’s definitely hard and challenging especially when nothing works. I’m just honestly grateful for this app. We just have to keep fighting together 💕

I also deal with this. Talking things through with my therapist has really helped me get out of my head about it all, and helps me break down my thought process into more manageable pieces. After many years of various depression meds that the side effects were worse than the depression, I am doing things without meds currently. It’s not perfect, but I’m breathing through the hard stuff, and finding things that bring me joy, to focus on. Sending supportive energy your way. ✋🏼♥️🤚🏼

Totally understand how you feel- I’m on the same boat with myofascial pain. Sometimes it feels like you just have to wait out the bad days until you get one good day. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you can look forward to doing? I’m always in a mentally better place when I can see and take care of my horses :)
