Hi- I injured my right knee on April 1st of this year and after getting an X-ray and an MRI finally last week, they tell me there’s no broken bones or any tears other than a sprain of the MCL on my inner right knee. It feels like part of the injured area has gotten better but I’m having a much harder time walking now than a month ago. I haven’t been able to straighten out my leg since the initial injury and now there’s more swelling than before. I’m using crutches because I can’t put weight on my right leg. The orthopedic specialist doesn’t seem to have any useful insight other than iceing the area and taking advil. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Thank you in advance.
