I take melatonin and mirtazapine and they don't help me much. Didn't even know I had a YBI until last week and I've had it for a while. Hopefully treatment will help and if it does I'll post about it!

Absolutely. I found my natural rhythm is about 17 hrs on and 7-8 hrs off. It doesn’t make for good routines

@OuchiePrincess How did you find your natural rhythm?

@Overcomer i started documenting how long I would sleep for. And how long I could comfortably stay awake. And kept recording that for a few months

Always. Had to quit my job at the end of 2021 and got on a good sleep schedule for a week and since then it has been so inconsistent.
@Y0g1 I quit my job too. I have been trying to regulate my sleeping habits but I can’t seem to get consistent. I’m always tired and don’t wake up feeling rested. No mater how much I sleep.

@LindsayLee my psychiatrist just put me on a schedule because he thinks it will help. I have my phone wind down around 9- after 9:30 no screens at all- I put on music and a timer to turn the music off (it helps me fall asleep). Around 9:00-9:30 I start reading whichever book I’m reading at the moment and then turn the lights off right about 10. If you have an iPhone make a daily schedule for it to turn to sleep mode at a certain time every night- takes a lot of self control but you can do it!!

None so far. But I receive a heavy blanket for Christmas and some how it has helped but when I lay down
@Overcomer I want one. I know it will help me. I’m glad you’re seeing a positive response with it.
@LindsayLee Thanks. It helps me a lot
I do
@Overcomer what are some methods you find helpful? Or are you still searching?
