somedays i just have a really tough time reading, pronouncing, and saying words. i can read (in my head) quite well, but when i picture the word, and try to pronounce it or spell it, i struggle. the words i use sometimes don’t make much sense, and it’s frustrating. sometimes i hear words, know how to picture them, and yet i cannot understand what they mean. i have trouble understanding what people are trying to tell me, even after repeating themselves multiple times. i have trouble formatting sentences and i can’t remember how to spell simple words. a few years ago i spent hours trying to remember how to spell “temperature”. i spent so long trying to remember how it’s spelt and yet i never got it. i have to constantly use autocorrect and even then i make so many mistakes. i can’t remember the difference in “too” and “to”, i mistake “their” and “there” all the time. there’s so many times where my words just mush themselves together. it takes me so long to do assignments that used to be so easy. when i was seven years old i was reading at a college level. despite my family having a long history of lisps, speaking disorders, dyslexia, and overall processing disorders; no one in my family believes me except my sister who does have dyslexia.
