For me, PTSD caused my FND and the thing that helps me most is EMDR. It was hard to find a practitioner that takes my insurance. I tell everyone in my life that it's been truly life-changing.

Try to figure out any triggers that make your symptoms worse. For example flashing lights seem to trigger attacks for me. They may not be obvious and no one really warns you about them

Could I ask, where did you start for getting those diagnosis? I'm looking for help where to start to get my possible non epileptic seizures diagnosed and my probable fnd also diagnosed. I hope that makes sense ^^'

Yes! Support is huge! Its so difficult to understand and cope when you dont have much support. ♡♡

biggest thing ive learnt is pacing yourself is key. as much as you want to continue life as normal,, take things slow and dont overdo things. find out what is manageable for you to do in a week,, and add in rest days. slowing myself down and reducing major stressors has massively helped my symptoms :)
