I've been on Zoloft for like 7 or 8 years and it's worked very well the whole time. The only issue I have is that it keeps me awake, to the point where I had to cut the starting dose in half because I didn't sleep for five days straight. It takes about a month for it to really kick in, and once you've been on it for a while, SSRI withdrawal syndrome is HORRIBLE. You shouldn't experience that unless you have to stop it suddenly due to insurance issues or something

when i started it at 15,, first couple weeks i had bad anxiety, tremors, sweaty palms, etc like all the time so i dont personally think it worked for me, but then again i also do very well on 15 mg of lexapro which other people dont like so ,, it really just depends on the person

I started Zoloft when I was around 13 and it didn’t work for me. It made me insanely groggy and if I forgot to take it I would get terrible vertigo. I was quickly put on a different medication

obviously everyone responds differently with medications but for me personally i've been on it for about 5 years (i tried a lot of medications before that) and its been the only one to help! i cannot function off of it, i have crying spells and intrusive thoughts, etc. it was prescribed for me for clinical depression and ocd 👍

It's been REALLY helpful to me. Doesn't make me feel "perfect" but it helped manage my mood and calm me down. My emotions were in hot mess before

It was hard for me to adjust to. I was in bed for almost a week from the nausea. But then it worked well for a few years, though it killed my sex drive. I switched a while ago to Wellbutrin which hasn’t had that effect 🙏🏼

zoloft did nothing for me. it just made me super nauseous and more anxious. prozac was amazing though

For me it only made it worse and definitely an increase on bad thoughts and panic attacks😥 I believe I’ve been on it for three years

I’ve also taken Prozac it works alright I need a higher dose.

I used to take Zoloft for panic attacks, but was switched to Prozac which has been going very well. I still have anxiety, but much less physical symptoms. I found that Zoloft was very depressing for me, it just changed my panic attacks into depressive episodes and I slept most of the day because the side effects made me so tired and hallow feeling.

I used to be it never worked for me. I have severe anxiety and it didn’t make a difference to me.

it just made me super depressed and angry. i punched my sister my first week of zoloft. it did work wonders for my mom, however. it’s really a hit or miss

zoloft was my first antidepressant. it made me feel more numb and made me SH more. i didn’t wanna bring it up to my mom but it ended up being brought up anyways, because of the “wrist checks” my mom would do on me. it didn’t work for me, but it might work for others haha

I'm on Zoloft too and it takes 2 to 3 weeks to really start feeling better.

SSRIs have to build up in your system over time so you may not notice a difference for another week or so. It also may not be the med for you! Zoloft worked ok for me but it also made me sleepy so I had to try a few different ones to find the right balance. It's tough, but you'll get there ❤️

it’s hard to tell if it helps or not, personally it really doesn’t help with my depression but it helps organize my thoughts

for me it didn’t really work at first but i got on a higher dose and it seems to be helping more so far. it’ll take a little bit to kick into your system tho :)

I’ve been on it since I was 9, it really helped me actually. I remember telling my mom “I don’t feel sick anymore” after starting it and it really boosted my energy. However I should note: it makes me sweat in my sleep, and the withdrawl symptoms if I forget a dose are terrible. I also experience tremors.

It will feel crappy first 2 weeks from my experience

I have been on Zoloft for a year and I think it has helped me to a certain extent. It is hard to tell how much exactly but I haven’t had as many anxiety attacks since starting it

I'm on Zoloft right now, it's really hard to tell if it's helping or not. But I have gotten tremors from it, which is a relatively common symptom when taking SSRI medication. It's not terrible, just my hand and fingers mildly shake uncontrollably.

Never worked for me. It was the first med I was on, & It made my anxiety/emotions worse. I think it probably works better for people who have just generalized anxiety versus BPD in my opinion. I’m sure it has worked for others but 🙃
