TONSIL STONES. I get them on the daily for weeks. Why? And how to manage? (Can it be a Food intolerance?) Doc just told me to keep my Dental hygiene up but it doesn’t work.

@Katharina I don't think so? I could be wrong, I might have been thinking else. But if you used to have any of them, it's normal to have tonsil stones now, you're usually supposed to get your tonsils removed after the 3rd time. I don't know how it works, like the reason behind it, but I know I was supposed to get them removed and know a few others who did

Do you have strep throat/bronchitis/tonsillitis? After getting strep for the 5th time I get tonsil stones daily now and the only way to stop is to get my tonsils removed. Sometimes I can go a week or 2 without any, but it's very rare. I knew someone in highschool and their tonsil stones were due to a medication side effect. I take my tonsil stones out with a wet q-tip as gently as possible, because it will cause bleeding. Or cough REALLY hard and they'll dislodge (cough face down into the sink or in a tissue, I've forgotten and coughed onto the mirror).

@strugglebus I haven’t had those in forever. Tosilitiss? Isn’t that another word for tonsil stones??
